Rethink Mental Illness provides mental health services and is on a mission to change the way society views mental illness. ReThink recognizes that people affected by mental illness are at the heart of everything we do. For Liz, yoga and trail running provide the foundations for mental health. She believes these combined disciplines work together for present mindfulness. Rethink has given her an opportunity to run the London marathon as part of their charity organization. She has attended many events at the Johnson Center for depression, including workshops on suicide prevention. As a Girls on the Run coach for over 10 seasons, she has mentored middle school aged female girls to build self-confidence and manage anxiety through wellness coaching and running. She believes there are methods and lifestyle tools that can assist with mental struggles and would love to contribute towards the momentum of healthy change.
